Behavioral Progression, Inc. is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency that provides behavioral improvement services to individuals with disabilities and/or behavioral challenges. We service individuals ranging from young children to adults in a variety of environments (home, group home, day program, preschool, school, and community). We serve individuals in the Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk County areas of Florida. We are also now in Nashville, Tennessee.

With qualified and credentialed supervisors, interning therapists will receive high-quality training on providing behavioral therapy to clients with a variety of needs. This training will provide a solid foundation for individuals interested in pursuing behavioral health education.

We are seeking determined individuals who are passionate about providing effective ABA therapy to individuals with behavioral needs. Ideal candidates will have plans to pursue higher education and are available to gain hands on experience providing direct therapy to clients, with supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Internship 
Experience 

Interning therapists will gain experience in the following areas: 

  • Implement skill-building programs for acquisition/ replacement behaviors and implement de-escalation strategies and reduction behavior procedures.

  • Participate in off-site training and workshops

  • Complete projects on data collection, graphing, written reports, etc

  • Receive behavior plan training

  • Collect and graph data

  • Complete data reports

Interns will gain experience in hands on direct therapy and indirect tasks that increase the student’s knowledge of ABA principles.

Qualifications

Highschool Diploma 

 Experience and/or interest working with individuals diagnosed with Autism/other disabilities

Experience and/or interest in ABA or related psychology coursework
